About ASMAF Scholarship Program
The ASMAF Scholarship Program is a need-based financial aid programme. The financial situation of the student and her family serves as the main factor in determining financial need.
The Foundation also considers academic ability, professional potential and leadership qualities.
The Ajesola Solarin Majekodunmi Foundation Scholarship provides:
- Tuition support
- Board and upkeep
- Support for up to six years, depending on the course and year of award
- Life skills and leadership development
- Mentoring
- Academic and professional development opportunities
- Access to resources that encourage academic excellence and lifelong learning
The scholarship amount is determined annually by ASMAF.

ASMAF Scholarship Requirements
To qualify for the ASMAF Scholarship Program, the applicant must:
- Be female and indigent
- Be Nigerian citizens
- Be entering tertiary education for the first time
- Have admission into or be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate programme
- Study at a public Nigerian university
- Study Medicine, Law, Actuary, Engineering, Accountancy, Architecture or another eligible professional course
- Meet the academic and financial need requirements
- Demonstrate academic excellence and leadership potential
Documents Required
Documents Required for ASMAF Scholarship Program
- JAMB admission letter
- GCE, NECO or WASC results
- Evidence of required credit passes
- Post-JAMB result or other university admission evidence, where applicable
- Current registration evidence and official transcript for existing students
Incomplete or false information will make an application ineligible.
Selection Process
ASMAF Scholarship will verify applicants’ eligibility and may contact recommenders.
Selection considers:
- Financial need
- Academic ability
- Course of study
- State of origin
- Geographical zone of the admitting university
- Available scholarship funds
Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted. ASMAF’s selection decisions are final.
Scholarship Renewal
The ASMAF Scholarship is renewable annually if the recipient maintains eligibility and satisfactory academic performance.
Awardees must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, participate in ASMAF programmes and submit an annual Progress Report.
Recipients must not hold another scholarship without written ASMAF approval.

- Upload the required documents.
- Provide your academic and financial information.
- Complete the recommendation requirements.
- Review and submit your application.
Only completed applications received before the deadline will be considered.
ASMAF Scholarship Deadline
Application starts on August 1, 2026.
The application deadline is Tuesday, September 15, 2026.
Late applications will NOT be accepted.
